Once again inpired by the Happy Catholic, I have been called to participate in this extraordinary project:
“The 2,996 Project
The idea is simple, but powerful: have a special tribute for each victim of 9/11, with each tribute being created by a different blogger.”
Whoa!
The idea of thousands of us who happen to love to express ourselves individually, coming together to honor an individual, whom we don’t know, and at the same time uniting together to pay tribute to those whose lives were cut so terribly short, made my heart skip a beat. We are so very different and unique, as the victims, yet united and deeply connected.
I am honored to pay tribute to the life of Michael M. Taylor on September 11th.
For those of you who have a blog and would like to sign up, there are over 100 victims left to be honored. If you don’t have a blog but want to participate in some way check out the site.
