moxie: The ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage.

Oh what a story do I have to tell in this episode! At least you know what’s it’s going to be all about looking at the image for this post.

That image was taken very soon after I walked through my door after I got held up. I found both of my girls immersed in watching My Neighbor Totoro, one of our family’s favorites.

Such dichotomy.

You can of course listen to me tell the story of the whole event as I set the theme for the yoga class, so make sure you download the audio!

There is a 5 minute intro and then the audio yoga class begins with me telling the story of how I got held by a young man with a gun a block away from my house.

Crazy!

This is a great class to practice when you are feeling ungrounded, defeated and/or a little scared. It’ll help you get your moxie on and help you reconnect to your strength!

I mention two links in the intro:

Also, do to the tragic events at the 2013 Boston Marathon and the explosion in Waco Texas I wrote this deeply personal piece that I’d love for you to check out: Surviving Terror- A Personal Story

I have been practicing Yoga for last 3 years and have acquired a level of grip over Power Yoga and now I am willing to learn more about other Yoga styles to deepen my experience and enhance my practices. I’ve decided to share my own wisdom with the people intended to bring inner peace and physical well-being for others.

I’ve heard that it requires to be a registered Yoga teacher and decided to join Yoga Teacher Training course in coming month. In my quest, I have found a school of Yoga ( http://www.yoga-teacher-training-rishikesh.in/ ) which is located in Rishikesh (an ancient spiritual city in India). It is said to be a serene place with fascinating natural beauty surrounded by Himalaya Mountain and river Ganges.

My intention is to gain deeper understanding of Yoga and get recognized Yoga Alliance USA as registered Yoga teacher to conduct my own Yoga class. Hopefully, it is going to be wonderful experience for me.
